Servizi online 2.0 di condivisione e collaborazione
La combinazione di “software più servizi” garantisce ai clienti maggiori opportunità di scelta e flessibilità nel modo in cui accedono e gestiscono il software. Con l’offerta Microsoft Online Services, le aziende possono utilizzare il software come un servizio in abbonamento oppure dai server che gestiscono in loco, o ancora scegliere una combinazione delle due opzioni.
Basati su Microsoft Exchange Server e Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, i nuovi servizi, gestiti attraverso una sola interfaccia web, consentiranno alle aziende di accedere all’email, al calendario, ai contatti, agli spazi di lavoro condivisi e alla videoconferenza.
D’altro canto il mercato offre da tempo soluzioni gratuite.
Ad esempio Thinkfree offre online la possibilità di creare documenti Word, fogli Excel e presentazioni in Powerpoint. Non si limita alla creazione e la modifica, ma permette anche di uploadare i vostri documenti e archiviarli. Ovviamente non serve scaricare niente, funziona tutto online con il vostro browser, ed è gratuito. Permette infine di poter preparare e condividere online i vostri file, addirittura postare nei vostri blog direttamente da thinkfree, sono presenti tra i tanti, i più famosi, per piattaforme Wordpress e Blogger.
Le applicazioni online stanno prendendo sempre più piede, altre proposte simili arrivano da Zoho e da Google attraverso Google Docs.

Ho tentato di proporre in azienda (gruppo di 6000 dipendenti, area Organizzazione) un sistema di Knowledge Management che si avvalesse di Share Point per strutturare le informazioni. Purtoppo non se ne è fatto niente, qualcuno ha esperienze da condividere in materia?
